Naomi Campbell Fights Ebola: Supermodel Is Staging Two 'Fashion for Relief' Shows In February 2015

Naomi Campbell is staging two "Fashion for Relief" shows in February to raise money to support Ebola victims. The shows will be in New York and London, and the money will go to Jeffrey Wright's Ebola Survival Fund.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six, Campbell said although she is a native of London, she has a home in Kenya and travels back and forth frequently. With Kenya being one of the African countries at high-risk, Campbell admits she is "scared."

The globe-trotting supermodel also told Net-a-Porter's The Edit: "The next time I travel, I will have a mask, latex gloves, bleach and sprays. I travel so much, you have to do whatever you have to do to make yourself feel safe until we are told otherwise."

Campbell also mentioned that she feels responsible as a black woman to address this outbreak. "People don't have a clear idea about what Ebola is. Ebola does not discriminate."

MStars News recently reported, Campbell has launched these shows in the past, to benefit relief efforts in Haiti following the devastating 2010 earthquake, and in Japan, where residents suffered 2011's earthquake and tsunami. The shows included participants like Kate Moss, Rosario Dawson, Jane Fonda and supporters Diane von Furstenberg and Kelly Osbourne. For her Japan relief shows, Campbell commissioned Dolce & Gabbana to create T-shirts, with proceeds from sales going to the Japanese Red Cross.
