American Horror Story is in the middle of its fourth season on the air and with the conclusion of this chapter could come the end of Jessica Lange's part on the series. The veteran star, who has been with the series since the beginning, has revealed that she might be leaving the show after the current season.

E! News sat down with the Emmy Award winning actress to talk about all things American Horror Story and to get the scoop on Elsa Mars.

When the site asked about her involvement when it comes to future season's, Lange said that she would be open to it but she just didn't know how she was going to top her character Elsa Mars.

"You know, I told him that we would sit down and have a long conversation when this was over," Lange says of a conversation with creator Ryan Murphy. "In a way this character is so great, I don't know how you top Elsa Mars. I really- in deference to Ryan, who I love dearly and who I respect beyond- I have no idea at this point."

Lange spoke to Entertainment Weekly last year saying that it is the commitment to the show that is really making her question her involvement.

"This is a 6-month commitment every year. That will be four years in a row," the actresses explained. "I want to have more time to myself I guess. Once it's over and I have a full year ahead of me with nothing to do, who knows? It might not have been the best decision. But I think four years doing something is a sufficient amount of time."

While this might be the last year with Lange on the show, fans can still breathe easy as there are still 8 more episodes left this season.
