Jamie-Lynn Sigler's Rep Releases Statement On Brother Adam's Death From Brain Hemorrhage [PHOTOS]

Former Sopranos star Jamie-Lynn Sigler's rep released an emotional statement regarding her 41-year-old older brother Adam's death from a brain hemorrhage.

"Words cannot express how deeply saddened we are by the sudden loss of Adam Sigler," the statement reads. "He brought love and joy to everyone around him, especially his family, who were by his side when he passed. Adam will continue to be a source of strength and inspiration. We ask that the family's privacy be respected during this time."

As MStars News reported, the actress's brother died Wednesday, Nov.12. And late Thursday night, the unfortunate news broke to the media. "She loved him dearly and will miss him more than anyone can ever imagine," an insider told Us Weekly. "Adam was always so happy and inspired Jamie to be a better person every day."

Adam was reportedly engaged and was a stockbroker. The eldest of his two siblings Jamie and Brian, they grew up in Jericho, New York. According to PEOPLE, Adam was in good health prior to his brain hemorrhage and reports have yet to be released about how and why the tragic incident happened.

"This came out of nowhere. It's a shock," a friend of Jamie told E! News on Thursday. "Adam loved being an uncle to Jamie and Brian's kid's. They gave him such joy." Jamie has a son Beau Kyle Dykstra, 1, with baseball player Cutter Dykstra.

The Sopranos star took to her Instagram this January to post a Throwback Thursday picture of her family when they were younger.
