Michael Fassbender is the latest star rumored to be playing Steve Jobs in the upcoming biopic from writer Aaron Sorkin and director Danny Boyle, but he's not the only important character in the movie! According to Sorkin, he considers Job's daughter, Lisa Brennan-Jobs, "the heroine" of the film. Who do you think should be cast in this role?

While Sorkin based his script on the Walter Isaacson book about the Apple co-founder, Sorkin explains that Lisa was mainly involved through talking to him directly. A new interview with the Independent comparing The Social Network with this upcoming film revealed this information about Lisa.

"Both films are much more about the people than the technology they invented. With The Social Network, I was interested in the psychology of the world's most successful social networking system being invented by the world's most anti-social guy," he explained. "And in the case of Steve Jobs, it's the relationships he had - particularly with his daughter, Lisa - that drew me to it. She didn't participate in Walter Isaacson's book, because her father was alive at the time, and she didn't want to alienate either of her parents, so I was very grateful that she was willing to spend time with me. She is the heroine of the movie."

Sorkin also revealed that, after Christian Bale dropped out of the film, the official casting news for the project will be announced very soon. We're still crossing our fingers for Fassbender!

Who do you think should take on the role of Lisa, though? Clearly we need a younger actress, or perhaps two stars to take on multiple times in Jobs' life. What do you think of this movie news? Let us know in the comments section below!
