Carly Rae Jepsen BF: The Fellow Musician is a 'Really Great Guy'

Carly Rae Jepsen has finally opened up about her beau Matthew Koma, and according to the 26-year-old "Call Me Maybe" singer, he is a "really great guy."

Jepsen told People magazine that the couple's relationship is very exciting and down-to-earth, stating, "I love to go on spontaneous dates and do things that we've never tried before or stay at home and make a homemade dinner."

Jepsen has spoken highly of her boyfriend for months (without actually naming Koma) - it was not until mid-August when the New York Daily News revealed that Koma officially introduced Jepsen as his girlfriend at the GetGlue HD Launch Party in New York City. They were spotted holding hands and thoroughly enjoying one another's company.

As well as being a fellow Canadian, Koma is also a musician - Jepsen gushes that he is "really talented." Check out Koma as he performs his single "One" at the Cherrytree House recording studio:

Jepsen seems totally head-over-heels for Koma, claiming that, "He makes me laugh every day and not always on purpose. He's my guy."
