Bill Cosby Death, Should Virtual Killer Get Away With It? [POLL]
Bill Cosby's death on Twitter on August 27, 2012 was the fifth time the comedian faced a virtual killing. Two years ago around the same time, "Bill Cosby died" trended and left many including the comedian himself upset and utterly disappointed.
Cosby, 73, told CNN back in 2010, "I don't want [whoever spread the rumor] to do this anymore, because this is my fourth time being reported [dead]."
A Facebook page titled "RIP Bill Cosby" already gained 90,000 likes.
Here are some reactions on the internet:
@Beautiful_Nail tweeted, "Ommmgg my heart stopped when i thought Bill Cosby died. Thank God hes alive. I love that guy!!!"
@TheROC_OfNY pondered, "yesterday it was bill nye....today its bill cosby....who will twitter kill next bill clinton??"
"BREAKING: Bill Cosby has died....only on twitter...not in real life. Quit starting stupid twitter death hoaxes." tweeted @BreakingNews hoping to spread the good news that the death is not real.
"Did Bill Cosby die? or has Twitter killed him off like they do a celebrity once a week now....," the user @JazzyFayeNC questioned.
It is sadly true that Twitter death hoax have somewhat become a norm for the "Twitter Generation." When initially it was ugly and unbelievable to see these type of rumors, now it appears to be humorous.
What do you think of Twitter death hoax? Should the "killer" get away with it?
