Sylvester Stallone's son Sage Stallone died on July 13, 2012 to causes unknown yet and in less than two months later, his half-sister Toni-Ann Filiti, 48, succumbed after a long battle with lung cancer in mother Jackie's home.  Sylvester was reportedly "devastated" with the news of his son's death and now is facing another loss with his Filiti's passing.

Filiti's death did not come as a big surprise since she was battling cancer that was getting worse and traveling to her brain.  She entered the UCLA's intensive care unit on August 10 where the doctors tried "everything" they possibly could to save her life, and later returned to Jackie's home before passing on Sunday morning.

"I was holding her in my arms. I had just washed [her] face and told her how pretty she looked, and she just fell asleep," Jackie, 90, said to Daily News.  The lung cancer had traveled to Filiti's brain.

"She's too young to go, but she wasn't feeling any pain," Jackie continued. "What a terrible month. First Sage and now Toni. It's hard. At least they're together now in heaven."

Jackie also spoke about how her son Sylvester is taking the news.

She told The News, "He said he can't take any more pain.  He said he'll always be there for her son."

Filiti has one son, Edd, with her second husband Louis D'Alto with whom she divorced in 2001.
