Lindsay Lohan 2012: Suspected For $100M Jewelry Theft, Father Defends Daughter
Lindsay Lohan is caught in another theft scandal involving $100,000 worth of jewelry, watches, and sunglasses. Her father Michael Lohan is defending his daughter's innocence in the midst of police investigation for the theft that occured on August 19, 2012.
TMZ first reported that witnesses pointed their fingers at Lindsay Lohan and assistant Gavin Doyle for stealing at Sam Magid's home during a party last Sunday. Magid reportedly called the cops to report that his jewelry was stolen.
Michael told Huffington Post in defense of his daughter, "I have evidence. Sam told me that nothing was stolen and Lindsay did nothing the day after the story broke. I have irrefutable proof and witness. No matter what anyone says, I have witness and proof that Sam Magid said that nothing was stolen."
Apparently, Magid changed his mind and recanted his initial report of stolen jewelry.
The LAPD however have individual witnesses who say they have seen the actress pocket the accessories.
If Lindsay gets convicted of this theft charge, she will go behind bars. She is already on probation for another theft case where she is accused for stealing a necklace at a Venice jewelry store.
Do you think Lindsay is guilty of stealing when she has more than enough money to buy jewelry for herself?
