Steve Franken Died at 80 Due to Cancer, Wife Said
Steven Franken died at age 80. His death was a result of cancer, according to his wife Jean Franken. Franken was an actor best known for his role as Chatsworth Osborne Jr. on popular show "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis" that ran from 1959 to 1963.
Franken is a veteran TV actor who has been in the business for over 50 years making appearances on many shows and films including "Seinfeld," "Bewitched," "Mission: Impossible" and more.
He left a memorable impression as Chatsworth Osborne on "Dobie Gillis," who was the rich and snobby milionaire on the show.
Franken is survived by his current wife, Jean Franken and their daughter Anne. He also had two daughters Emily Franken and Abigail Glass from his previous marriage with Julia Carter.
