'The Longest Ride' Nicholas Sparks, Scott Eastwood Trailer Released: Watch Britt Robertson And Clint Eastwood In Mid-West Romance Film
Are you ready to take a long ride? We'll definitely get ready if it means Scott Eastwood's coming along with us. The 28-year-old actor and son of Clint Eastwood has teamed up with Nicholas Sparks to star in the latest book-to-movie adaptation of one of his romance novels, The Longest Ride. The star's following in the footsteps of some pretty hunky leading men, including Josh Duhamel, Zac Efron, Ryan Gosling, Channing Tatum and Shane West, who have all been the male leads in Sparks's movies, and we definitely think Eastwood holds his own among them.
According to E! News, the film's based on Sparks's 2013 novel of the same name, and the story centers around a widower whose life collides with Eastwood's character and his love interest Sophia, played by the beautiful Britt Robertson. As the story progresses, they realize their perfect love might be so perfect after all and that sometimes the greatest love of all requires loss.
The trailer showcases some of Eastwood's killer good looks as well as his bull-riding abilities. With the sultry music and the sexy make-out scenes, the trailer's giving us a serious Fifty Shades of Grey vibe, and we're loving it.
As the two explore the scenic nature of the Mid-West, as well as each other's bodies, they stumble upon someone who might change the course of their relationship forever.
The romantic drama, directed by George Tillman Jr., will heat up theaters April 10.
