Aaron Schock On Gay Rumors and Fashion Advice for Paul Ryan
Aaron Schock has been no stranger to gay rumors since he's become the GOP Congressman of Illinois. Though he denied being gay before, the media would not let go of Schock as he emerged in questionable outfits and even posed shirtless for the 2011 Men's Health magazine.
Last Thursday, the 31-year-old congressman was faced with questions regarding his sexual orientation and his anti-gay voting record. Schock responded that the questions were "inappropriate and ridicule" and "not worthy of further response," Huffington Post reported. He did not feel the need to respond to questions that he has already answered clearly in the past. "You can look it up," he said regarding whether he was gay or not.
Why would the media keep targeting Schock about his sexuality? As Huffington brought up, he once wore white jeans and a hot pink shirt with a teal belt to a White House picnic catching a lot of attention. He also flaunted his 6-pack abs on the cover of Men's Health magazine in 2012, an act that is not common for Republican congressmen.
TMZ had a chance to speak with America's fittest congressman Schock at the RNC last week and was able to get a few fashion tips for Paul Ryan.
"I think Paul's in great shape," Schock told the TMZ cameraman. "I think a little bit of cleaner attire would accentuate that physique that he worked so hard to maintain."
"But, you know he works out for the right reason, it's not all vanity. I mean the guy lost his father when he was a young man, he lost his grandfather also at a young age, so he knows being physically fit isn't just about looking good in clothing. It's about living longer."
Ryan has somewhat become a celebrity that even his fashion tips are taken seriously.
