Engagement Rumors: Charlize Theron, Sean Penn Getting Married? Did Penn Propose During Paris Getaway?
Engagement season is in full swing and it seems that two more A-listers can add their names to the list of celebs who will be walking down the aisle next year. While it has been speculated for months that Charlize Theron and her boyfriend Sean Penn have been engaged, it seems like some news sites waited for the holiday season to officially announce the proposal.
According to Hollywood Life, the couple is reportedly engaged and has been since they took a romantic trip together to Paris back in November. The 54-year-old actor, who has previously been married twice before (once to Madonna and then again to Robin Wright), is saying the third time is a charm, as rumors that he gave a ring to Charlize have been making their way around the Internet.
Should the reports be true, this will be Theron's first marriage.
Refinery29 is also reporting on the marriage rumors, saying that there was speculation that the two were getting hitched after Theron showed off a ring that she wore on the her left hand ring finger. The couple had plans on saying "I do" this past summer, in addition to adopting a child, but nothing every came of those rumors.
The couple began dating one year ago, but it seems that they have fallen madly in love, as the site is saying that they became caught up in proposal season and Penn finally popped the question.
Penn allegedly asked Theron to take their relationship to the "next level" during their Paris trip and many news sites are equating that with him proposing to the starlet.
