Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Break Up: K-Stew's 1st Red Carpet Post-Cheating Scandal
"Twilight" star Kristen Stewart may have cancelled all pre-planned public appearances (including Red Carpet cameos) following the drama surrounding the cheating scandal involving former sweetheart Robert Pattinson, but an upcoming appearance for the premiere of the film "On the Road" is permanently written in her contract. So it looks like Stewart must finally face the public in Canada on Thursday when she attends the Toronto Film Festival, and according to inside sources, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" star is pretty nervous about it.
"Kristen Stewart hasn't been able to get a wink of sleep in the run-up to the film festival," a source reports to the Daily Mail. "She's been fretting over the film's premiere."
"On the Road" is a 2012 film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's cult-classic novel of the same name. The story follows Kerouac as he spends a majority of the 1940s traveling across the U.S., bumping into numerous famed figures including the Beat Generation poet Allen Ginsberg. Stewart plays a character by the name Marylou.
Supposedly, Stewart is afraid of how some fans will react once she hits the red carpet, and is worried that such bad feels will affect the critical reception of "On the Road." It's no surprise that Stewart is concerned about how some fans may treat her, considering she is the one that ultimately ruined her three-year relationship with R-Patz (she cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders - some seedy pics of the two making-out surfaced earlier this summer, ousting the scandal). If things go bad at the Toronto Film Festival for director Walter Salles, Stewart claims that she will feel primarily responsible for it.
But looks like Stewart will have to suck it up and see what happens on Thursday. Maybe the 22-year-old starlet should just consider this good post-cheating Red Carpet appearance practice - she is set to appear at the "Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" premiere on Nov. 16. And at that event, she'll actually have to share the carpet with Pattinson. How do "Twilight" fans see that panning out?
