Brooklyn Decker, Andy Roddick Wife Gets Emotional At Disappointing Final U.S. Open
Brooklyn Decker, wife of tennis star Andy Roddick, couldn't hide her sadness behind her dark sunglasses at Roddick's final U.S. Open playoff. Roddick's performance was terrible losing 4 games to Argentinian Juan Martin del Potro.
It was just one week ago that Roddick announced his retirement from professional tennis with the hope to end on a good note.
Roddick was emotional in the final match up against Potro after being defeated repeatedly.
"The last five games was hard,' Roddick shared after the game. "Once I got down that break I could barely look at my box. I'm a little overwhelmed right now."
Dailymail captured photos of both Roddick and Decker at the New York City stadium visibly distressed and sad.
"For the first time in my career, I'm not sure what to say," Roddick addressed the crowd. "I appreciate your support along the way. I know I haven't made it easy for you at times,' referring to short temper on the court."
The crowd gave a standing ovation to both players who gave their all on the field. Champion Del Potro was considerate and understanding towards Roddick as well admitting that it wasn't easy for him to play.
Roddick will now focus a charity he founded called The Andy Roddick Foundation.
