Top 10 Trending Actors Of 2014 On Google - Jared Leto Named Most Searched Male Star This Year, Who Else Made The List?

This week, Google released its top trending lists of 2014. Of these lists, some were pretty interesting, so we've chosen one to share with you today. The most searched actor of the last year was Jared Leto, thanks to his first-time Oscar nomination and win for Best Supporting Actor. His portrayal in The Dallas Buyers Club rocketed the acclaimed actor to much larger fame. So who else made this list? Take a look at the other top trending actors of 2014 below!

Leto was also recently cast as the Joker in The Suicide Squad, which would probably add to Google searchers' curiosity about the star.

Leto's Dallas Buyers costar Matthew McConaughey came in second on this year's trending list, which certainly isn't a surprise. He won the Oscar for Best Actor, reinvented his career on HBO's crime drama True Detective, and blasted off into space with Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. He was everywhere, really, and we loved every second of it!

Macaulay Culkin started a pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band called The Pizza Underground. Clearly, people will be searching for the former child star. Oh, he was also the subject of two death hoaxes this year, which gets plenty of Google searches.

Another actor to seemingly rule in 2014 was Chris Pratt. Guardians of the Galaxy was one of the biggest movies ever and the trailer for Jurassic World was one of the most watched of the year. Plus, with Parks and Recreation coming to an end early in 2015, we're sure that boosted some searches as well.
