Before Caroline Kennedy addressed the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night, the daughter of former president John F. Kennedy talked politics and Taylor Swift tunes with television hosts Charlie Rose and Norah O'Donnell on "CBS This Morning." While Caroline didn't give up any juicy details on the budding Taylor-Conor Kennedy romance (Caroline and Conor's father, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., are cousins) she wasn't shy to admit that she doesn't give too much thought on the Mitt Romney campaign - all her dedication and focus remains on Obama.

When O'Donnell asked the 54-year-old author and attorney what her thoughts were on Obama's Republican opponent Romney, she laughingly responded with, "I don't think that much about Mitt Romney. I think about President Obama. I really do." She goes on to claim that the late Democratic endorser (Uncle) Ted Kennedy would be proud of how Obama has served the country up until now.

In her Thursday evening speech at the DNC, Caroline compared Obama's presidency to that of her fathers, applauding the current President for his successes and inspiration. Check out the full Caroline Kennedy speech text here.

Before wrapping up the CBS interview, Rose posed the question, "Are you listening to any Taylor Swift songs these days?" While Caroline didn't seem to recall the exact title of the tune, she answered with, "Romeo. Romeo, when I think about Mitt Romney, only" (was the Obama endorser trying to pull some sarcasm, there?).

Of course Caroline was most likely referring to the Swift tune "Love Song," which features the name "Romeo" in its lyrics multiple times. Check out the full "Love Song" lyrics here.

While Caroline didn't offer much insight on her opinion of Swift, another Kennedy (Patrick, son of Ted), told TMZ earlier this week, "We love Taylor Swift ... she's been a great friend and we're happy for Conor. If she wants to be in the family, she's already a part of it."
