'Teen Mom' Catelynn Lowell's Husband Tyler Baltierra Blasts Critics Over First Daughter Carly's Adoption After Nova Reign's Birth
Teen Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra might have given up their first daughter for adoption years ago, but the couple is apparently still living with the repercussions of the decision. The couple's painful decision to give up their daughter Carly for adoption was documented on MTV series 16 & Pregnant and then Teen Mom after that back in 2009. The pair just welcomed their second daughter, Nova Reign, earlier this year and instead of being a happy time for the couple, it looks like the birth of their daughter was welcomed with a lot of criticism.
Tyler took to his Twitter account to address the cynics that bashed the couple over having another baby after they gave their first one up for adoption.
"So sick of the ignorance in the world," Tyler posted on the social media site. "Just because you place a child for adoption doesn't mean your not allowed to have another #GetReal,"
However according to US Weekly, it doesn't seem like Baltierra let the naysayers affect the momentous occasion, as he also posted a happy message about the arrival of his daughter.
"Having her here feels unreal but actually taking her home feels even more unreal," the star tweeted. "I actually get to be happy about leaving the hospital. Crying happy tears instead of sad ones feels AMAZING! I don't have to be heartbroken this time #EmotionalDaddy #DontMindMe."
