Katie Couric New Show: Scheryl Crow and Jessica Simpson First Guests

Katie Couris new show is titled "Katie" and will feature Scheryl Crow and Jessica Simpson as the show's first guests premiering September 10th.  From Anderson Cooper to Steve Harvey, new daytime talk shows are the latest trend.  

Couris' show looks pretty exciting with Simpson making her first appearance on television since giving birth to a baby.  Simpson caught so much attention for the drastic baby weight she has gained since pregnancy, however now is her chance to show her new slimmer figure.   

Simpson posted her excitement on Twitter, "On my way to @katiecouric 's show! I'm her very first guest - Wish me luck!! #WeightWatchers https://bit.ly/P7Dhfx"

Crow also tweeted yesterday, "So excited! Tune in tomorrow and watch me on the debut of @KatieShow"

Scheryl Crow has also made headlines recently regarding her ex-fiance Lance Armstrong doping rumors.  

The show will be taped on the same day that it airs, giving Couris the potential to cover breaking news if she wants.  However the talk show host said she would be covering a variety of topics.  

On Tuesday, her special guest is expected to be Aimee Copeland who fought for her life against a terrible flesh-eating disease that spread rapidly.  Doctors had to amputate her leg to save her life.

Other A-list guests to appear on the show in the month of September include Heidi Klum, Demi Lovato, Sofia Vergara, Barbra Streisand, and more.
