It's finally that time of year - hockey season!
The Boston Bruins battle it out on the ice against the Pittsburgh Penguins in Week 13 of the regular season on Wednesday, January 7 at 8:00 p.m. EST at the CONSOL Energy Center in PA. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Wednesday night hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
Following the first few opening weeks of the 2014-2015 regular season, the Bruins snag the No. 19 pot in Pierre LeBrun's official NHL power ranking for ESPN.com with a 19-15-6 record:
"I should probably drop the Bruins farther, but I just can't bring myself to. Surely they are going to finally turn this around. They've dropped four of five games since the holiday break, although the past three losses were all in extra time. Sitting 21st in goals per game really stands out."
Meanwhile, the Penguins currently hold the steady No. 6 spot (out of 30 total teams) with a 24-10-5 record. According to LeBrun:
"It was an aggressive move by GM Jim Rutherford to get his man two months before the trade deadline, adding top-six winger David Perron over the weekend. Perron should fit in well."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels TVA and NBCS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at Sports Hub 98.5, ESPN 101.3, 105.9 The X, and WNIO.
