Jerry Springer Dead Rumors Resurface Despite TV Host's Claims That He is Alive

Jerry Springer died on September 7, 2012 according to Twitter.  The truth is that he is alive and well yet the death hoax resurfaced again.  There has not been any coverage about him being dead on legitimate news sources, which clearly proves that the rumor is false.

The story first surfaced on an infamous website known for killing off celebrities.  It claims that Springer lost control over a vehicle and was instantly killed.

"Jerry Springer died in a single vehicle crash on Route 80 between Morristown and Roswell. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics responding to the vehicle accident and was identified by photo ID found on his body. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this accident ... Highway Safety Investigators have told reporters that Jerry Springer lost control while driving a friend's vehicle on Interstate 80 and rolled the vehicle several times killing him instantly."

The site goes as far as talking about the memorial service for Springer.

Many fans have expressed sadness over the possibility that their favorite TV host has passed.  Luckily, Springer himself is very active on Twitter and have responded to concerned fans confirming that he is alive.

He tweeted, "I AM ALIVE AND WELL. Thanks to all who were concerned about my well being!" on September 7th.

He responded to many fans with messages like "I am fine. Thanks all who cared!" and "I'm still here."

Just when we thought the rumor was cleared since the man himself confirmed it, the rumor is catching momentum again.  Let's hope that people will be smarter this time and not fall for it.
