Looks like Michael Sam is officially off the market! MStars News has learned that the first openly, self-acknowledged gay NFL player is reportedly engaged.
According to TMZ, Sam and his longtime boyfriend, Vito Cammisano, will tie the knot after one of them popped the question of marriage.
The site claims that one of Vito's swim team friends allegedly spilled the beans on the engagement, as the former Cowboys player, "liked" the post.
She wrote via social media: "People, he is officially off the market!!!!! My beautiful friend @vitcamm is getting married!!!!!! (AHHHHHHHH!) I love you so much Vit. So damn excited...so ready to celebrate! @mikeysam52 #vitoisengaged"
The engagement apparently happened while the couple was enjoying a trip to Europe for Sam's 25th birthday. "Having a great time with this lovely guy in Foligno, Umbria. #Italy #love," Sam wrote in the first photo seen above.
In the video above, Vito wrote: "Because it's midnight in Roma!! Happy birthday, babe! I love you! #birthdayboy #25 #quater #italy @mikeysam52"
The couple enjoyed architecture, food, and wine on their trip.
"What a beautiful view from the top of St. Peter's Basilica!!! Happy 25th birthday to me #vatican #Italy #birthday," Sam wrote above.
The couple has been doing it big so far in the year 2015. The celebrated the New Year in Spain.
