The Hollywood Foreign Press Association will hand out the 2015 Golden Globe Awards tonight. MStars News has seen all the nominated films and gives you a rundown of all the categories as well as our predictions for who should and will win.

Best Motion Picture, Drama

Boyhood

Foxcatcher

The Imitation Game

Selma

The Theory of Everything

Should Win: Boyhood

Will Win: Boyhood

Analysis: Boyhood has been steamrolling through the critics awards this season and should be walking away with the Golden Globe tonight. Its toughest competition for the Best Picture Oscar is in the Comedy/Musical category, so look for it to continue its awards streak.

Best Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical

Birdman

The Grand Budapest Hotel

Into the Woods

Pride

St. Vincent

Should Win: The Grand Budapest Hotel

Will Win: Birdman

Analysis: With seven nominations, the most this year, Birdman looks like the frontrunner, but look out for The Grand Budapest Hotel, which just received the most British Academy Award nominations and registered noms from the all-important guilds.

Best Director, Motion Picture

Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel

Ava Duvernay, Selma

David Fincher, Gone Girl

Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Birdman

Richard Linklater, Boyhood

Should Win: Richard Linklater, Boyhood

Will Win: Richard Linklater, Boyhood

Analysis: Any one of these nominees could win. The most deserving is Richard Linklater for his 12-year journey with Boyhood, but the Hollywood Foreign Press may want to make history by rewarding Ava Duvernay as the first African-American female to win the top directing honor.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Drama

Steve Carell, Foxcatcher

Benedict Cumberbatch, The Imitation Game

Jake Gyllenhaal, Nightcrawler

David Oyelowo, Selma

Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything

Should Win: Jake Gyllenhaal, Nightcrawler

Will Win: Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything

Analysis: Best Actor this year is the most competitive category. Jake Gyllenhaal's performance in Nightcrawler was amazing and should win, but Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking was also amazing. In the end, I think the HFPA will give it to Eddie Redmayne's star-making turn.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama

Jennifer Aniston, Cake

Felicity Jones, The Theory of Everything

Julianne Moore, Still Alice

Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl

Reese Witherspoon, Wild

Should Win: Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl

Will Win: Julianne Moore, Still Alice

Analysis: Rosamund Pike gave a stellar performance in the smash hit Gone Girl, but it's Julianne Moore's year. Her path to Oscar starts at the Golden Globes.

Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical

Amy Adams, Big Eyes

Emily Blunt, Into the Woods

Julianne Moore, Map to the Stars

Quvenzhané Wallis, Annie

Helen Mirren, Hundred-Foot Journey

Should Win: Amy Adams, Big Eyes

Will Win: Amy Adams, Big Eyes

Analysis: Any of these actresses could win and it wouldn't matter for the Oscar because none of them will be nominated come Thursday so I'm going with the most critically-acclaimed from the nominated performances.

Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Comedy or Musical

Ralph Fiennes, The Grand Budapest Hotel

Michael Keaton, Birdman

Bill Murray, St. Vincent

Joaquin Phoenix, Inherent Vice

Christoph Waltz, Big Eyes

Should Win: Ralph Fiennes, The Grand Budapest Hotel

Will Win: Michael Keaton, Birdman

Analysis: Ralph Fiennes gave the best performance out of the bunch, but it will be Michael Keaton for his career comeback performance of a movie star trying to make his own comeback on Broadway.

Best Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture

Patricia Arquette, Boyhood

Jessica Chastain, A Most Violent Year

Keira Knightley, The Imitation Game

Emma Stone, Birdman

Meryl Streep, Into the Woods

Should Win: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood

Will Win: Patricia Arquette, Boyhood

Analysis: Patricia Arquette has won a lot of the critics awards up until this point and will win the Golden Globe tonight. Jessica Chastain has a slim chance to win, but this is Patricia's to lose.

Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture

Robert Duvall, The Judge

Ethan Hawke, Boyhood

Edward Norton, Birdman

Mark Ruffalo, Foxcatcher

J.K Simmons, Whiplash

Should Win: J.K. Simmons, Whiplash

Will Win: J.K. Simmons, Whiplash

Analysis: The Oscar frontrunner and critics darling, J.K. Simmons should have it in the bag, but since this is Whiplash's only nomination, they may decide to give it to Ethan Hawke for Boyhood.

Best Screenplay, Motion Picture

Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel

Gillian Flynn, Gone Girl

Alejandro González Inarritu, Nicolas Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Jr., Birdman

Richard Linklater, Boyhood

Graham Moore, The Imitation Game

Should Win: Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel

Will Win: Wes Anderson, The Grand Budapest Hotel

Analysis: Wes Anderson's phenomenal script for The Grand Budapest Hotel wins out here. There really isn't any competition, but they could reward Gillian Flynn for the great adaptation of her own book.

Best Foreign Film

Force Majeure (Sweden)

Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem (Israel)

Ida (Poland)

Leviathan (Russia)

Tangerines (Estonia)

Should Win: Ida (Poland) or Force Majeure (Sweden)

Will Win: Ida (Poland)

Analysis: Ida from Poland, which has swept most of the critics awards, should win here. If it doesn't win, look for Sweden's Force Majeure to take it.

Animated Feature Film

Big Hero 6

The Book of Life

The Boxtrolls

How to Train Your Dragon 2

The Lego Movie

Should Win: The Lego Movie

Will Win: The Lego Movie

Analysis: The Lego Movie will win the Golden Globe before taking the Oscar in February.

Best Original Song in Motion Picture

"Big Eyes," Big Eyes, Lana Del Rey

"Glory," Selma, John Legend and Common

"Mercy Is," Noah, Patti Smith and Lenny K

"Opportunity," Annie

"Yellow Flicker Beat," The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1, Lorde

Should Win: None

Will Win: "Mercy Is," Noah, Patti Smith and Lenny K

Analysis: This category is anyone's guess. The song that should win, "Everything Is Awesome" from The Lego Movie, wasn't even nominated, so I'll go with the best song out of this mediocre bunch. Look for "Everything Is Awesome" to come back strong for the Oscars.

Best Original Score in a Motion Picture

The Imitation Game

The Theory of Everything

Gone Girl

Birdman

Interstellar

Should Win: The Imitation Game

Will Win: Birdman

Analysis: The Imitation Game's score is the best of the bunch, but I'm going with Birdman because the music was an integral part of the movie. Don't bank on it being nominated for the Oscar, since Birdman was recently deemed ineligible in this category. If the HFPA want to predict the Oscar winner, then they'll go for The Imitation Game.
