Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington Wants to Play Superhero, Specifically Batman

Plenty of actors have said they want to play superheroes in movies or on television, and we can add Game of Thrones star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, to that list.

Harington spoke to MTV News to promote his new movie Testament of Youth and expressed his desire to suit up. "I'd love to play a superhero," he said. "I would love to play Batman."

Of course, Ben Affleck is playing the Caped Crusader in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

MTV News asked Harington if he would bring Jon Snow's seriousness to the role, but the actor actually wants to see the Dark Knight move in the other direction.

"I'd camp him up again. He's gone way too dark and serious," he said. "I'd like proper spandex. Superhero movies got all too serious. They need to get silly again."

Game of Thrones Season 5 will be here before you know it, but we'll have to settle for spoilers on the HBO series for now. The latest news deals with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Missandei.

The following comes from the "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online. Please note the article likely meant "Season Five" where it says "Season Three."

"Mark1239: I really wanted Game of Thrones to win at the Globes!! Any scoop to heal the wound?
We ran into Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) at the HBO party, and she teased that Missandei and Daenerys will grow 'closer' in season three. 'We see Daenerys being queen and what comes with that, so it's not always smooth sailing but she's got her confidante and friend Massandei to help her along the way.' Nathalie also revealed that she and Emilia are good friends together in real life and like to have 'tea parties' together, on and off set. 'We just hang out and drink tea-it's very British,' she laughed. New life goal: Daenandei Tea Party invite!"
