Just ahead of the midseason return of The Flash, the CW network has announced a new addition to the cast. While Mark Hamill and John Wesley Shipp are having their own The Flash reunion, Grant Gustin's Barry Allen will be facing against The Trickster (played by Devon Graye).

In our first recap, Barry (Gustin) was just a little boy when he witnessed the death of his mother. In his eyewitness account, Barry described a man in a yellow suit inside the bolt of lightning. While Henry Allen (Shipp) was framed for his wife's murder, Barry joined the police force to find the real person who actually committed the crime.

In our latest recap, the Reverse-Flash and the Flash were in a race across Central city, which the scarlet speedster lost. Though the Reverse-Flash was caught in a force field, it didn't stop him from pulverizing Wells (Cavanagh). If it wasn't for Firestorm (Robbie Amell), Barry would've gotten a worse beatdown. At the end of the episode, we saw Wells staring at the Reverse-Flash suit in his secret lair.

As we previously mentioned, the Star Wars actor will reprise his role as the Trickster. This time around, the Trickster is a much darker character than in the original version. Like the plot of Silence of the Lambs, the incarcerated Trickster has to help Barry and Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) capture his copycat, who is committing terrorist attacks.

According to The Wrap, the Dexter alum will guest star in episode 17. Straight from the comics, Axel Walker will be brought from page to screen. Walker emulates his idol, even steals predecessor's old gadgets and makes them new again.

No word yet on how Hamill and Shipp meet; or if this is Trixter, also from the comics.
