Shaun White Arrested: Olympic Gold Medalist Charged with Public Intoxication, Vandalism

Shaun White, the 26-year-old Olympic gold snowboarder and X Games skateboarding star, has been arrested in Nashville, TN under charges of public intoxication and vandalism after things got a little too out-of-hand during a drunken hotel  revelry.

According to the Nashville PD, White tried to run from the hotel after he allegedly broke a phone and pulled a fire alarm in a drunken stupor. White attempted to "escape" by hailing a cab - another person at the hotel then tried to prevent White from leaving and the two got into an altercation. The victim claims White kicked him and continued trying to flee - when the individual chased the two-time Olympic gold medalist down, they got into another physical altercation. From the mug shot posted above, White sports a pretty knarly black eye.

Police arrived at the hotel and transported White to a local hospital, where he was charged with public intoxication and vandalism. According to Nashville cops, White smelled of alcohol and appeared extremely intoxicated.
