'19 Kids & Counting' Jana Duggar, Secret Boyfriend Zach Bates: 'Bringing Up Bates' Star Courted Jessa Duggar's Sis Shortly Before His Marriage

Single Jana Duggar has been making headlines all over the place lately in regards to her spinster lifestyle. She might only be 25, but in the world of the 19 Kids & Counting family, that definitely constitutes as something out of the ordinary. While some may be calling Jana the most eligible bachelorette in the Christian community, it seems that a few dating secrets from her past have just been exposed, like her secret boyfriend Zach Bates from Bringing Up Bates.

According to Radar Online, the star may have been linked to former NFL player Tim Tebow, but it is another celebrity bachelor that the star was reportedly with that is making the rumor mill turn today.

The news site is reporting that Jana was allegedly courted by Bringing Up Bates star Zach Bates prior to his wedding to wife Whitney Perkins.

A source close to the family explained to the site that the pairing was approved by Jana's father Jim Bob Duggar but that nothing ever came of it because she wasn't into it.

"Jana just wasn't interested," an insider explained. "She wasn't attracted to him and just didn't see it working out."

But it didn't seem like Bates took the rejection too much too heart, as shortly thereafter he married his wife Whitney and added a son to their family.

According to the International Business Times, Zach and Whitney's pregnancy is currently one of the main focuses of the first season of their UP network series.

As for Jana, it seems that she will find love when the time is right.

"Jana has been pursued by several guys," a source explained. "The problem is that Jana's extremely picky. She wants the real deal and won't settle for less."
