TJ Lang Tweet: Green Bay Packers Guard Bashes Replacement Refs with Profanity-Driven Twitter Rant

Many Green Bay Packers football fans (not to mention players and coaches) were extremely ticked-off at NFL replacement referees following Monday night's controversial game, where the Packers "lost" 12-14 to the Seattle Seahawks. One player who couldn't help but to tweet his frustration? Packers guard T.J. Lang. Following Monday evening's "robbed" victory, Lang tweeted a number of profanity-driven messages, lambasting the NFL for hiring such "embarrassing" replacement refs. Thanks to his public Twitter rant, Lang now has over 110,000 followers on the popular social networking site.

Check out Lang's livid tweets following the Packers vs. Seahawks game:

@TJLang70: "Got fu##ed by the refs... Embarrassing. Thanks nfl."

@TJLang70: "Fu## it NFL... Fine me and use the money to pay the regular refs."

@TJLang70: "Any player/coach in Seattle that really thinks they won that game has zero integrity as a man and should be embarrassed."

@TJLang70: "Only thing I regret from my tweets are the F bombs.. Sorry bout that."

And finally, recognition of his newfound cyber fame:

@TJLang70: "S/O to my 90k new followers."

Lang isn't the only one upset over the NFL referee lockout, he just happens to be one of the only players who has spoken out so furiously (and expletively) about the subject. During Monday night's heated game, replacement referees called the final Seahawks play a touchdown, even though many believe it was most obviously not. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson threw a pass to receiver Golden Tate - Packers safety M.D. Jennings also managed to get his hands on the ball, resulting in a flurried tackle as both players hit the ground. Two referees standing in the end zone initially made different calls, but the play was ultimately ruled a touchdown (even after further review). Some are considering it "the worst call in NFL history" - check it out and decide for yourself.

Even President Obama had something to say on the matter: "I've been saying for months we've got to get our refs back. NFL fans on both sides of the aisle hope the refs' lockout is settled soon."

While Lang's frustrations may be reasonable, his profane Twitter rant might get him in some trouble with the NFL. Even so, teammate Greg Jennings seems to have gotten a kick out of it:

@GregJennings: "#NFL C'MON MAN! Can't even be upset anymore. All I can do is laugh. Laugh at the #NFL for allowing America's game to come this. WOW!"

Hopefully the NFL referee lockout gets settled soon, or who knows what the 2012 season might have in store for football fans, coaches, and players alike. Maybe the NFL will take Lang up on his "fine" offer?
