Anne Hathaway - who turned heads in her Catwoman suit in this summer's hit Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises" - is ready to premiere another hidden talent; singing. The 29-year-old actress recently announced that she will perform a one-night only, intimate benefit concert in New York City on October 24 entitled "Perfectly Marvelous: The Songs of 'Cabaret' with Anne Hathaway and Friends." Hathaway, who will star in the upcoming film adaptation of "Les Miserables" (opening on Christmas day) will perform a number of hits from the hit musical "Cabaret" in celebration of the revitalization of the Public Theatre's historic downtown home.

Hathaway is set to sing a number of hit "Cabaret" tunes, including "Willkommen," "Cabaret," "Maybe This Time," and "Perfectly Marvelous" at Joe's Pub (the Public Theatre's central annex). Ticket prices range from $100-300 and costs include food and drink.

"Cabaret" is a musical that debuted on Broadway in 1966. The plot is based off of a book written by British-American novelist Christopher Isherwood and John Van Druten's 1951 play "I Am a Camera" with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. The story is set in Berlin, Germany at a time the Nazis are rising to power - the plot focus on the seedy nightlife that surrounds the Kit Kat Klub and delves into the relationship between English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and the young American writer Cliff Bradshaw.

Proceeds from the concert will go towards the revitalization of the Public Theater's legendary residence, which recently underwent a major $40 million makeover. The "new" Theater will debut on Oct. 4.

Hathaway previously starred in the Public's Shakespeare in the Park production of "Twelfth Night" in 2009. She will star in the highly-anticipated film adaptation of "Les Miserables" opposite Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe.

Hathaway had this to say about the special upcoming event: "I am delighted to reunite with The Public for this special night to celebrate the theater's rededication, and support its mission to spread great theater to all the people of New York (tourists are welcome too)."
