'Justified' Season 6 Spoilers: Will Timothy Olyphant, Walton Goggins "Underestimate" Garret Dillahunt's Threat? [WATCH]
Based on the popular crime novels by the late author Elmore Leonard, the final Season 6 season of Justified continues on FX. Before their inevitable showdown, will Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) and Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) underestimate Ty Walker (Garret Dilahunt) as a "real threat?"
In our first recap, Raylan (Olyphant) failed to stop Boyd (Goggins) from pulling off a bank heist. While distracting Dewey Crowe, Boyd pulled out his gun and shot him in the head. Boyd couldn't trust Dewey anymore, which is why he had to die.
In our second recap, Raylan met with Boyd, who had stolen a ledger from the bank robbery. Though Raylan got the ledger, Ava figured out there was another spot holding money. Katherine Hale though doesn't trust Ava, wondering if she hiding something. Katherine tells all her problems to her lover, Avery Markham (Sam Elliott), who she's actually planning to rob.
In our third recap, Boyd discovered he was actually stealing from Markham. While Ava was held hostage, Ty had his paramilitary men kidnap and threaten Boyd to make sure he stays away from their bank vault. After being humiliated by Walker, Boyd confronts Katherine and tells her he intends to get back at him.
Dilahunt describes his character to TV Guide, "He certainly is confident in his abilities. One thing I didn't want to do...was be the tough guy who comes in and underestimates the hillbillies. I think everyone at this point is just too far ahead of us if you tried to take that route. So I think it's more interesting, and he's more of a threat if he actually is aware of the capabilities of these guys, both Boyd and Raylan. But at the same time, he hasn't lost yet, and he has no reason to believe he won't find a way. It's the last season so everybody is fair game. There could be some unexpected deaths."
