Lena Dunam, 'ASOS' Magazine November 2012 Cover Girl, Dishes on HBO 'Girls' Success

Lena Dunham, star and creator of HBO's hit show "Girls," graces the cover of the November 2012 issue of "ASOS" magazine. The 26-year-old actress/director/writer had some fun during the "ASOS" photo shoot, rocking a number of young and sophisticated killer looks. HBO's newest powerhouse also opened up about her fame and success, insisting that she is in "amazing things overload."

When asked by "ASOS" about how she felt on the success of the first season of "Girls" (a drama-comedy that follows the lives and tribulations of a group of twenty-something-year-old young women), Dunham said:

"I'm going to sound like such dips**t when I say this, but so many amazing things have happened in the past year, it was almost like amazing things overload. I was like, I wish these were slightly more spread out so I could appreciate every single one with the correct amount of gusto and savor it as a memory until my deathbed. But you can't live your life in a constant state of law, so I thought, 'I'd better get my chin off the floor.' It's been pretty wild."

Dunham goes on to explain: "The entire process, I was just like, 'Is this happening?' I couldn't believe the idea that I was going to get paid to do it. It was just so mind blowing to me. I'd done things, but never on this scale so it was really trial by fire. I worked as hard as I could and sort of faked it until I made it. I would watch people doing things and mimic them oddly and then suddenly I knew what I was doing."

In another recent interview, Dunham hinted that she is excited for the upcoming second season of "Girls" (premiering in January 2013), especially considering some very special (and attractive) guest appearances:

"I know it's sort of a clammy joke but what can you say about Patrick Wilson? And he's an amazing actor. He does something really amazing on the show that I'm really excited for people to see. There is the cutest assemblage of boys on the show this season, in addition to our regulars. [Donald] Glover and Patrick are who have been revealed and there are some other surprises who I think are equally delicious."
