Lisa Lampanelli Weight Loss: Comedian Sheds 80 Lbs, Flaunts Slimmer Figure on Dr. Oz [VIDEO]
Loud-mouthed comedian and former star of "Celebrity Apprentice" Lisa Lampanelli has experienced a significant weight loss thanks to gastric sleeve surgery, shedding an amazing 80-lbs. The 51-year-old insult comic flaunted her much slimmer figure on a recent episode of "The Dr. Oz Show," admitting that she ultimately turned to surgery because she got tired of trying everything else while still gaining weight.
"I got sick of trying everything. I tried every single thing imaginable - diet, exercise," Lampanelli told Dr. Oz on a recent episode of his health show earlier in October. "I even bought a house on the health spa property and I still gained weight."

Gastric sleeve surgery decreases the size of a patient's stomach to limit the amount of food one can eat - now, Lampanelli eats much smaller portions but is still able enjoy her favorite dishes.
"I order food like a normal human being. If I'm out to lunch I'm going to order three courses like everybody else. I'm not going to feel like some kind of freak," Lampanelli said. "So I always order soup, dessert and a sandwich or whatever main course. But then the idea is you have to eat such a small portion of it and bring the rest home."
Lampanelli is an American stand-up comedian who kicked off her career in New York City. She is popularily known for her racy and controversial style of comedy, which frequently includes subjects such as race and homosexuality. Lampanelli has also appeared on many "Comedy Central" specials and has her own memoir "Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat, and Freaks."
Even with a slimmer figure, Lampanelli still has her quick and witty sense of humor. When Dr. Oz says Lampanelli's typical lunch looks more like a snack, she responds, "You're a skinny guy. What can I tell you? You're the people we hate!"
