Black Ink Crew couple, Dutchess and Ceaser, may have proven to some out there why they may never get a tattoo.

The engaged stars just showed fans of Love & Hip Hop New York how hard it is to spell Yandy Smith's fiance, Mendeecees Harris' name.

Smith had came to the famous tattoo shop to get some permanent ink of the father of her kids name on her ring finger.

As Dutchess and Ceaser recall that day, Ceaser questions his lady and co-star if she spelled his name right on Smith's finger.

"As a woman your ring finger is not that big," Dutchess explains. "I'm thinking, 'how do you spell it?"' Dutchess admits that Mendeecees' long name would've taken up the entire finger on Yandy's hand, as she came up with an easier way to spell his name for the tattoo.

"The best thing for us to do is to put it in her 'nickname' way." She spells it out, "We put 'M-E-N-D-C."' A puzzled Ceaser questions his girl, appearing to want to know why she spelled it that way. "That's not how you spell his name," Ceaser says, as Dutchess explains, "That's what she calls him, 'Mendc'....to get that on her whole finger was like what in the world is going on."

Ceaser disagrees and claims spelling out Mendeecees isn't too long. "That's only like nine letters." The couple have a Mendeecees spelling match, as it appears that they both don't know how to spell his name. "I don't got time to be arguing with you baby...you don't know how to spell it," Dutchess tells Ceaser.

"I know how to spell it," Ceaser claims, and messes up the first three letters. Watch below!

For the record, Ceaser was close in the number of letters, but Mendeecees has ten letters in his name.
