John Mayer Weighs in on White & Gold, Blue & Black Dress Debate via Instagram: Sets Record Straight Following Katy Perry Wedding Hoax, ‘Late Late Show’ Host Gig [WATCH]

We hate to bring more attention to this white and gold v. blue and black dress debate – because let's face it, the media has been talking WAY too much about it as it is – but it seems that musician John Mayer has a thing or two to say about it via his Instagram account. And well, following those possible marriage and wedding rumors with girlfriend Katy Perry, we figure we could squeeze in just a little bit more of Mayer into the news. After all, the guy did a bang up job hosting the Late Late Show a couple of weeks back, no?

Just recently, the guitarist took to his Instagram account to settle the debate... kind of.

"We know what color the picture is," he captioned alongside a video of him scrolling down the now famous picture on what looks to be Photoshop or a similar application.
