Whitney Houston's Daughter, Bobbi Kristin Brown Engaged To Nick Gordon Her Adoptive Brother [Video]

Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is now engaged to her adoptive brother Nick Gordon. The 19-year-old made the announcement of her engagement on her reality show premiere of "The Houstons: On Our Own" which airs Wednesday October 24.

Earlier this year, Bobbi Kristina's mother, Whitney Houston died of a drug overdose at the Hilton hotel in Beverly Hills right before her performance at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy party. Coping with their grief, the singer's sister-in-law/manager Pat Houston and daughter Bobbi Kristina agreed to do a reality TV show back in May for the Lifetime Network. According to the Washington Post, Pat Houston, will mentor and help Bobbi Kristina deal with being in the public eye now more than ever and will experience life "unscathed."

Rumors of Brown's engagement to Gordon had been floating around for some time and now the secret is out. In the sneak peek footage of the upcoming season of their reality show, the Houstons disapprove of Gordon. Houston's brother, Gary Houston sat down with Gordon and told him, "No one knows from Godson you would turn to a boyfriend. No one knows that."

Just last month, Bobbi Kristina was involved in an accident with Gordon. According to TMZ, cops arrived at Bobbi Kristina's and her boyfriend, Nick's apartment for a noise complaint, however, no one answered. Upon arrival, cops noticed a mangled car in front of the apartment building with its hazard lights on. The front bumper was completely torn off and the tire on the passenger side was missing. The cause of the accident was unknown and under investigation.
