Joe Jackson, the father of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson flashed a gun on stage at the Black Music Awards in Las Vegas. The music business genius is known for raising the Jackson 5, which later would introduce Michael Jackson as a solo artist to the world.

Jackson has been criticized in the past for his alleged abusive past with his children, but expressed, "I whipped him with a switch and a belt. I never beat him. You beat someone with a stick."

In the film, "The Jacksons: An American Dream," Joe was portrayed as a military style showbiz manager for his children and an adulterer, who cheated on his wife Katherine Jackson. Many believed that he was the main reason for his son's odd behavior throughout the years because he never had a normal childhood.

Known as the music industry's most hated father, he now carries a gun for protection. He told the audience that he doesn't leave home without it and that saying before introducing his friend, Majestik to the stage, "I carry a piece everywhere I go, I'm gonna show it to you. I've been threatened a lot of times and so I need to be safe."

Majestik revealed that when Joe suspected Michael Jackson's bodyguards were supplying him drugs he said, ""If I hear you all givin' my son drugs or doing anything illegal with my son ... I'ma kill all of you."

Joe confirmed the story, but it's still unclear if he is allowed to carry.
