Martin Scorsese is a legend. Nobody can contend that. The man is the king of capturing the tumultuous lives of iconic figures known for being brutes and bringing them to life on the screen. This is why if the rumors of Scorsese directing a Mike Tyson movie are true, we should all be prepared for the best boxing movie since Scorsese's own Raging Bull.

The movie isn't official but Jamie Foxx — the man rumored to play Tyson — says it's going to happen. This is according to an interview he did with Power 106's morning show The Breakfast Club. "So I'm going to do the Mike Tyson story. Listen, to be in the same room pitching Mike Tyson to Paramount, Mike Tyson is on one side, I'm on the other side and doing Mike Tyson at the same time. And Martin Scorsese at the helm," Foxx said. "This will be the first boxing movie that Martin Scorsese has done since Raging Bull." Tyson went a step further and posted a video online of his best knockouts. In the caption of the video Tyson asked fans: "Help me pick my 10 best knockouts to feature in the Mike Tyson story starring Jamie Foxx and directed by Martin Scorcese".  The video is 57 minutes long and features 44 knockouts. It starts with Tyson knocking out Hector Mercedes on March 6, 1985. In that fight, much like others, Tyson knocked out Mercedes in the first round. If anybody can portray the brutality that comes with a Tyson fight, it's Scorsese. You can expect the music to be top notch and the casting to be A+. The movie didn't even come out yet and it's already a better cast than most movies have now. Do you think Jamie Foxx will play a good Tyson? Will Scorsese bring some old friends the likes of Robert DeNiro, Leonardo Dicaprio or Ray Liotta to play Cus D'Amato?
