Miss Howard Stern Arrested for DUI: Andrea Ownbey Charged with Marijuana Possession, Claims 'It was Legal Medication for my Head' [PHOTOS]

Miss Howard Stern Andrea Ownbey was arrested earlier in October and charged with a DUI after she crashed into another car in Hamilton County, Tennessee -now, the 29-year-old blonde bombshell wants to set the record straight. According to Ownbey (deemed Miss Howard Stern since 2002), the three possession charges against her were dropped and all that remains is the DUI. TMZ initially reported that marijuana, a marijuana pipe, and a variety of prescription drugs were found in the vehicle, but according to Ownbey, the only thing she possessed at the time "was legal medication for my head."

Last weekend, a local Tennessee police officer who heard the crash take place showed up to the scene of the accident and promptly administered Ownbey a breathalyzer. Howard Stern's no 1 gal admitted to drinking a few glasses of wine before getting behind the wheel of her car, but she ended up failing the test horribly. Cops searched her vehicle and found a bag of weed, a pipe, and a variety of prescription drugs. After a quick hospital visit to make sure she wasn't injured, Ownby was booked at the police station and charged for DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and driving while in possession.

However, Ownby recently tweeted the Howard Stern Examiner stating: "I've been to court once already all charges dropped except DUI I had nothing illegal it was my legal medication for my head."

This isn't Ownby's first run-in with the law in regards to alcohol and drugs.  The young blonde (crowned Miss Howard Stern in a pageant 10 years ago) has been openly addicted to drugs, alcohol, and plastic surgery - she regularly calls into Stern's radio show asking "help." In 2009 she was charged with another DUI, this one far more serious. Ownbey drunkenly crashed her convertible into a telephone pole at 60 miles per hour and was hurled from the vehicle. She landed hard on the pavement, ultimately fracturing her skull.
