The 2012 World Series kicks off tonight as the Detroit Tigers take on the San Francisco Giants in Game 1. Starting pitcher for San Francisco will be lefty Barry Zito who will go against Detroit's, Justin Verlander for a game 1 win.
Verlander is set to dominate after setting many postseason records in 2012. As his teammates stand behind the pitcher, Verlander will be the first to touch the baseball for the series Anibal Sanchez said, "We have to follow him," he added, "he's the ace for us."
