World's Smallest Dog: Tiny Polish Terrier Suni Barks to Claim Honor of Guinness World Record [DETAILS]
Suni, the tiny-tot terrier from Poland, is barking her way to the Guinness World Records in hopes of winning the honor of World's Smallest Dog. Little, three-month-old Suni currently weighs .22lbs and stands at a meager 2.36in- a size even smaller than her owner's compact cell phone. Veterinarians in Jarocin, Poland do not see Suni growing larger anytime in the future.

According to Suni's owner, Anna Pohl, "When she was born she was so small no-one thought she would survive but she has." Now that Suni is older and healthy as ever, Pohl would like to see her honored with the title of World's Smallest Dog. Pohl has even been in touch with the officials over at the record-breaking achievement authority to see how Suni measures up compared to other micro pups.
So far, Suni has taken the cake for World's Smallest Dog. However, Guinness World Records will not crown Suni until she is 12 months old - therefore, Pohl better hope Suni doesn't have even the slightest growth spurt within the next nine month.
Boo Boo, the 4-inch Chihuahua from Kentucky, currently holds the title for World's Smallest Dog (since 2008). Another pup is also currently in the running - the Puerto Rican teacup Chihuahua Milly weighs .37lbs at four-months-old.
