Lil Wayne was hospitalized after an in-flight medical scare forced the rapper's private plane to launch an emergency landing in order for the 30-year-old MC to seek treatment for his seizure-like symptoms. Following the jet's landing in an undisclosed area of Texas on Thursday, Weezy was rushed to a local hospital and reports have it that he is now "doing fine." Little information has since been released about Lil Wayne's condition and treatment.

(UPDATE - Lil Wayne supposedly suffered from dehydration, not a seizure - "Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration," his rep said in a statement to MTV News. "He is at home on doctor-mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love.").

According to a TMZ report, the Young Money rapper was at the hospital for several hours before being released at approximately 6 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 25). While it remains unclear if doctors made an exact diagnosis, inside sources claim Weezy is doing much better.

Lil Wayne hasn't updated his Twitter account since Wednesday, but the rapper has been quite busy this past week. He attended Sunday's NLCS baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and St. Louis Cardinals, and even performed an impromptu rendition of "Take me out to the Ball Game." The ""How to Love" singer also reported to MTV this week that he currently has "like 90" unreleased songs produced by Dr. Dre. On Tuesday (Oct. 23), Weezy also appeared in the music video "Ball" alongside rapper T.I.
