‘SNL' Slams L. Ron Hubbard, Scientology Following HBO Documentary ‘Going Clear’ Release [WATCH]

If you checked into Saturday Night Live this past weekend with host Michael Keaton then you undoubtedly saw a randomly bizarre parody video for the Church of Neurotology. But if you caught HBO's Going Clear documentary, which details the happenings within L. Ron Hubbard's famed Church of Scientology, then you know it wasn't so random. In the parody video, the iconic sketch show mocked Scientology's oh, so cheesy jingle and accompanying video from decades ago, which was featured in the HBO doc.

Perfectly, we might add.

The video never actually comes out against Scientology, but given the release of Going Clear – and Bobby Moynihan's amazing resemblance to the Church's creator (Hubbard) – it's a pretty clear slam.

And there's also the use the Hubbard's initial successful book, Dianetics.
