Channing Tatum 'Sexiest Man Alive' 2012? 'People' Supposedly Set to Name "Magic Mike" Star 'Sexiest Man,' Who Should Really Win? [POLL]
Although "People" magazine is not set to announce its "Sexiest Man Alive" for 2012 until the November 14 issue, rumors have it that "Magic Mike" heartthrob Channing Tatum will be handed the coveted and sometimes highly-controversial title (at least for this year). Although "People" is keeping quiet, Gossip Cop reports that Tatum is without a doubt the entertainment magazine's leading hunk for 2012. Rumors aside, what do Mstarz readers think - does Tatum rightfully deserve the honor? Or what about Ian Somerhalder (star of "Vampire Diaries") or Adam Levine (judge on "The Voice" and front man of Maroon 5) - both of those Hollywood heartthrobs have had a phenomenal year in regards to their careers too. Read on for more gossip details on the "sexiest man alive," and be sure to vote for your leading Hollywood man of 2012 in our Mstarz poll!
According to a recent report on Gossip Cop, a reliable source let it slip to the gossip website that Tatum will definitely be featured as the "sexiest man alive" in "People" magazine's upcoming issue. The site reached out to the popular entertainment magazine, with one rep insisting, "We never comment on who the Sexiest Man Alive is until the issue is revealed." Gossip Cop also tried to get ahold of Tatum's people, but received no response. So for now the "sexiest man alive" claims are merely rumors, but with 32-year-old Tatum's impressive 2012 filmography - "Haywire," "The Vow," "21 Jump Street," and most recently "Magic Mike" (a popular one among the ladies) - it wouldn't come as a surprise that the actor/dancer/model snags the title.
But there are still a number of other popular Hollywood heartthrobs who could just as well be in the running for 2012's "Sexiest Man Alive." Ian Somerhalder is a favorite on the hit television series "Vampire Diaries," and many fans believe he'd make the perfect Christian Grey in the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey." Adam Levine has that rough, edgy, rocker vibe going on - fans love him on "The Voice," and he made an awesome cameo appearance on the opening episode of the new season of "American Horror Story." Or how about Joseph Gordon-Levitt - handsome guy with some serious acting cred ("Dark Knight Returns" and "Looper") with an impressive sense of humor to boot (check out his appearance on "Saturday Night Live"). Ladies love that! Mstarz readers, vote in the poll below, or post in the comments section for more suggestions (surely there are tons!).
