John Mayer Teases New Relationship on Instagram Following Katy Perry Break Up Rumors!

Looks like John Mayer has a new relationship... with a mailbox. Yep, that's right. While we're all wondering just what the heck is going on with Mayer and his on-again, off-again girlfriend/lover Katy Perry, the musician took some time to post a new photo to his Instagram account, which basically notes that there's someone new. Or, it was just done because it's random and (kind of) funny.

"This could be us but ur not a mailbox," Mayer captions a photo on his account. The pic is of him standing in front of an old-fashioned letter box.

Naturally, the responses from the post have been rather varied, from people expressing their LOLs and oh, so annoying cute emoticons to comments such as "I'll be a mailboxxxxx" and "Okay. He's cool now."

It looks like no matter what John Mayer posts to Instagram, his fans will fall in love with. Now all we have to do is wait for someone to dress up like a mailbox and appear on his doorstep. Which would be... weird?
