Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar just added their newborn baby, Israel, to the family two weeks ago and it seems like the couple is still basking in the glory of "baby makes three." While the 19 Kids and Counting star was waiting for the arrival of his baby boy, he decided to take pen to paper and write a heartfelt message to his little guy. While the family welcomed Israel into the world on April 6, Derick's letter is just making it's way to the surface today.

According to E! News, Jill's hubby was reading the Bible book of Isaiah, where he stopped and cited some scripture to express his feeling about his newborn baby.

The star took to his blog to post the letter shortly after Israel was born.

"I read these verses in my time with the Lord this morning, and I wanted to pen them specifically for you. Just as the Lord spoke of the nation of Israel, I pray He would accomplish in you. I pray that you, Israel, whom I already love more than anybody, except mom of course J, would turn to the Lord early in your life and glorify Him with all that is within you."

Derick was busy penning the letter while Jill was in labor for 70 hours, although she ended up delivering Israel via C-section.

"Though we are still waiting on your physical birth, I want you to know that mom and I are already praying for your spiritual birth," Derick continued. "The world has not met you yet, but the Lord our God already knows everything about you and who you will be. After all, He is forming you as we speak! How awesome is our God, the God of Israel! None shall prevail against Him!"

The happy father concluded the letter with an emotional closing, writing, "I love you son and I always will, no matter what. I will say it again... I love you Israel- Your daddy."
