American Music Awards Winners: Sees High Voltage Performances by Usher, Psy: Full List

American Music Awards Sunday in Los Angeles at the NOKIA Theater witnessed a flurry of high-voltage performances by the stars of the world of pop music, including Usher and Psy who set the stage on fire.

 Justin Bieber and Carly Rae Jepsen scored big awards during the 40th anniversary of the American Music Awards. The former was named the Artist of the Year, whereas the latter took home the New Artist of the Year award.

Meanwhile, Usher rocked the stage with his performances of "Numb," "Climax" and "Can't Stop Won't Stop," a visual treat for the audience. He also hit a milestone after being named Favorite Male Artist- Soul/R&B for the 8th time.

Taylor Swift, who was basking in the success of winning the top awards at MTV EMA earlier this month, received another shot in the arm with Favorite Female Artist- Country Music award last night. She also enthralled the onlooker with her performance of "I Knew You Were Trouble."
