Marc Anthony Sells $2 Million L.A. Mansion to Former 76er, Nugget NBA Free Agent JaVale McGee

Since getting married, Marc Anthony decided he had no use for his Los Angeles bachelor pad. The home essentially built for Gatsby-like throwdowns went on the market and was quickly picked up by NBA Star JaVale McGee. The house stands at 6,262 square feet and is more a castle than mansion. It's located in Encino, California and is worth over $2.25 million.

The home has six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a wine room, its own movie theater and an insanely high ceiling that's perfectly suited for the 7-foot tall McGee. It's more than enough for the man with one of the largest arm spans in Denver Nuggets history.

The backyard might be even crazier than the inside. It's a huge area with a pool/hot tub, gazebo, grade A lawn chairs, palm trees and a pool house that's about the size of a New York City apartment.

Anthony bought the home back in 2013 after his separation from pop singer Jennifer Lopez. Since marrying supermodel Shannon de Lima in November, he decided to drop this home and share dual custody of an even bigger castle.

The new home located in the San Fernando Valley is 6,590 square feet and worth over $4.124 million. It has five bedrooms, six-and-a-half bathrooms and a huge walk-in closet.

Right now McGee is currently out of a job. Back in March he was waived by the 76ers after only appearing in six games. His stay in Philly was short lived as he and Chukwudiebere Maduabum were traded back in February of this year for Cenk Akyol. Despite not having a team right now McGee has some money to spend. Back in 2010 he signed a contract with the Denver Nuggets for four years worth $44 million. He even had his own reality show on the OWN Network with his mom at one point.
