How sweet! Kate Middleton and her husband, Prince William have decided to name their daughter after her late grandmother, Princess Diana. According to NBC News, the royal couple, who welcomed their second child on Saturday, May 2, 2015 named their daughter Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

Kensington Palace officials revealed the baby girl's name on Monday.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their daughter Charlotte Elizabeth Diana," a statement from Kensington Palace said. "The baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge."

Her full title is "Her Royal Highness Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge."

MStars New previously reported that the Duchess gave birth naturally without an epidural with her team of midwives and delivered an 8lb, 3 oz baby girl. Princess Charlotte was born at 8:34 am local time (3:34 am EST) Saturday morning.

Like most, we predicted that the royal family would name their new daughter after the late Princess Diana who always wanted a little girl in the family. The Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince William also have a son, Prince Geroge, who will turn 2 years old on July 22.

Princess Charlotte is the great granddaughter of U.K.'s Queen Elizabeth II, 89, who is probably excited about her name being involved in the new babies title.

Some Instagram post have decided to school everyone on Princess Charlotte of Cambridge's name, including the snapshot below:

One special key note to point out is the name Charlotte is also the middle name of Kate's sister, Pippa Middleton, and the name Elizabeth is also the middle name of Kate's mother. How adorable!
