That 70s Show Arrest: Lisa Robin Kelly Arrested (Again) for Assaulting 61-year-old Husband, Drugs and Alcohol Allegedly Not a Factor
Actress Lisa Robin Kelly, Eric Forman's "sleazy" older sister on the hit comedy sitcom "That 70s Show," was recently arrested in North Carolina... again. According to a TMZ report, the 42-year-old actress was arrested for assaulting her 61-year-old husband at their home on Monday, Nov. 26. The police report alleges that the couple got into a heated argument which elevated to a domestic violence case, where both individuals were ultimately charged and arrested. This is not Kelly's first run-in with the law - just in March, she was charged with a felony involving corporal injury upon a spouse (with former boyfriend and roommate, John Michas).
According to reports, police were called to Kelly's North Carolina home on Monday to break up a domestic violence dispute - both Kelly and her husband were arrested and they currently remain in custody. Law enforcement insist that drugs and alcohol were not involved this time around.
Back in August 2010, Kelly was pulled over and arrested in North Carolina for driving while intoxicated and later pled guilty and had to pay a hefty fine. Just in March 2012, Kelly was charged with felony spousal abuse against ex-boyfriend and roomie John Michas. After being released on a $50,000 bail, Kelly hit up Facebook to tell her fans that Michas' injuries were self-inflicted and that he was trying to frame her:
"He must have scratched himself or done something to himself. I am clean and sober and I have made a lot of progress. I am completely innocent. I weigh 105 pounds. I could never hurt him. I just want to start working again... I did nothing to hurt John Michas... I cared. I made a mistake to move in with someone I didnt know well and its all a big mess. I was simply trying to move on... He used me. He got 20,000 for pics on TMZ so he claims... He has me on a $50,000 bail which I paid, and my accoount is wiped out... If your a friend. Respond thru email. He promised no strings attached when we moved in and that he would be good to me no matter what. He abandoned the lease. Then went police with fake pics I just am so upset. My career is doing well and he made sure to ruin it."
After all the drama, Kelly appeared on "Good Morning America" and did admit that drug and alcohol abuse were both a major part of her "That 70s Show" past, but that she was not under the influence of anything when posting her Facebook claims.
Although Kelly may no long have problems with substance abuse, it looks like she has some major issues with controlling her anger (especially against men she supposedly loves).
