Sofia Vergara ‘Modern Family’ & ‘Chef’ Actress Celebrates New Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

This week, Sofia Vergara was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It was a monumental moment for the Modern Family and Chef actress. In honor of the achievement, she set out to celebrate in style. Not only did she party in Hollywood, but she also had a life-sized replica of her Hollywood star in tasty cake form.

Vergara showed off her flashy cake on Instagram and it received thousands of likes in less than a day. At one point in the celebration, Vergara, full of energy, ended up becoming the last person dancing at the party honoring her. That moment was also captured on Instagram along with a few more:

What is astounding is not just how she was honored on the Walk of Fame, but also how her Instagram exploded. A photo of her laid out next to her star garnered more than 155,000 likes- and that was just a single picture. Vergara posted over a dozen pictures on the site and reached over a million likes in total.

Vergara is definitely one of the more deserving starlets on the Walk of Fame and she could have gotten there just on her Modern Family merits alone. The series was renewed for a seventh season earlier this month and it is showing no signs of stopping. It has been nominated for an Emmy 67 times and has won 21 times. By the time it's all said and done, who knows how many awards it will have racked up.
