Domino’s Pizza Tweet-to-Order Service: Twitter Now Used to Request Food

When online ordering took over actually having to call a pizza place, we figured our minds had been blown. But now that Domino's – formerly Domino's Pizza – is offering a "tweet-to-order" service, where you can merely tell the company via Twitter that you're looking for some of their delicious goodness, it looks like it is safe to say that we had no idea how blown our minds had been.

Because now – they're totally blown.

That's right, folks. Now you can order Domino's from Twitter. Well, starting this coming May 20, actually.

In what the company's CEO Patrick Doyle is calling "the epitome of convenience," Domino's has seemed to figure out the shortest way possible for us to order our food. In fact, this will make Domino's the first-ever major "restaurant" establishment to put forth an ordering service via Twitter.

Step aside, Seamless. Goodbye, Grubhub. Domino's is paving the way –– but of course, we still need you guys if we're looking for Chinese Food or something, so don't go too far.

Adding to our excitment, according to reports from USA Today, those who are considered frequent customers can order Domino's by tweeting "only the pizza emoji."

Which is, well, pretty anti-social amazing.

Domino's push into the Twitter era is all about nabbing business from those younger, tech-savvy people. And since approximately 50% of Domino's sales is from digital, the tweet-to-order process just seems to make sense.

And judging from this recent string of tweets from Domino's, they're pretty excited.

As are we. Plus, we're also hungry. Thanks, Domino's!
